When you are refilling your stamp, choose your ink carefully. This product is a water-based pigment mix that is designed to be used on porous surfaces.

Oil Based Vs. Water Based: The sort of ink you use is determined on the stamp you are using. Pen is used to ink water-based ink on the self-inking stamp, while Pen is used to ink oil-based ink on the pre-inked stamp. Pre-ink stamps soak the stamp ink inside their rubber and release it with a simple press, whereas self-inking stamps use a felt pad (not a gel pad) or contain an interior refillable pad. Both stamps can be refilled, but you must use the correct ink type. Some pads, which are rubber gel pads rather than felt pads, will require oil-based ink as well.

Dye Ink Formula Vs Pigment: Traditional scrapbooking ink is dye ink. Dye ink is not water resistant and fades in the sun. Ink on paper After drying, pigment ink is UV proof, waterproof, and does not bleed. It also outlasts dye ink.

Non-Porous Surface Vs. Porous Surface: Porous (paper, wood, popsicle sticks) or semi-porous surfaces perform well with water and oil-based stamps. Water-based and oil-based inks cannot be used directly on non-porous surfaces. If you wish to use it directly on non-porous surfaces, you will need to use a solvent-based Pen to ink stamp ink. A heating tool, on the other hand, can be used to speed up the drying process, allowing the water-based ink to be used on glossy surfaces.
